really nice friday night. system was rockin tonight but highlight of my night out is SANDER K. - ultrafest 2004/miami.
i had to beg my friend to let me have it and it was worth it.
this is BEST SET EVER, hooooooooooooooooly, this guy is SICK, i mean c'mon.....
from the beggining he lets u know its gonna be dark journey, dark but with lots of smiling :D .
and then..... assault on senses, beat hits u in the head and u have to move and not those little moves, no , it makes u get ill, get down, get primitive.....
LOOOOTS of elbowkicking moments, busting a groove (and how), makes u feel ing nasty and dirty and some more things ;)
masterpiece of modern day music, this cd is going into my time capsule, for next generations, if (highly unlikley but u newer know) people forget about sander k.
10+ out of 10, perfect score.
if u dont have it, find it FAST, u'll thank me.

p.s. if sander's not the winner of this year dj mags top 100 dj, that would be the truth that there is no justice whatsoever. |

True that Sander is amazing.. you should have seen him play Montreal for CREAM... @ least 12,000 people agree with you. :D |

I normally would chalk it up to a typo and not pick on it, but since this is the second time... it's spelled "review".
And yeah, his Ultrafest 2004 set rocks, it's actually part of the Pete Tong/Sander K Essential Mix from 2004, which was also one of the only half-decent sets I've heard from Tong (you'll notice I added the "half" in there for good measure). For sure it's one of the best sets I've heard from Sander, although the one I heard in Montreal can definitely compete - if you think he's good on a recording then go see him live, NOW! |
