Ive gotten him to smile a few times. Even came close to making him crack up at austin when I yelled "you are the king" in german during one of the breakdowns.....and probably mispronounced the last word (sie sind der könig!!)

For a serious guess on his lack of emotion...I dont think he tries not to show any. Some artists get really into what they are trying to do and its hard to loosen up. Dunno if youve really seen the times you saw me play out, but I tend to be the same way. Dunno if its shyness or whatever but I tned to tend up when I have more than a few pairs of eyes watching me and knowing my mixing is being judged. Some people are able to forgo that, not give too much of a damn, and have a good time whether they mess or not....wish I was the same way to tell ya the truth. During the 4 hour set I played before kimball..I dont think I really loosened up until the 3rd hour after a few beers; the crowd's support REALLY helped as well.

but yeah..even after mixing for so long some have all of there concentration on the task of putting on a good sounding show that its hard to really interact. Armin and Tiesto never seemed to have this problem, Im beginning to think the dutch never get stressed out lol.

damn,.. where did this come about,... i might just have to attend this even though its on a Sunday... :D
Matthias
okay since the pre-sales are $15 and since I found a ride up there I can split gas money with....looks like a very good possibility of me going to this. Im sure I woulda found a way up there somehow...it will take the end of the word for me to miss a pvd event within driving distance. :toothless
Matthias
If anyone is going to this...and you havent got your tickets. Get em now cuz prices are going up. I got mine when they were $17, now they are $22. wouldnt be surprised if they are up to $30ish a few days before the show.
DeviantxPete
Anyone else from Austin going to this event? Seeing if there's someone that's willing to split the gas cost.
