Check out some quotes I read at the Solar Stone site:

quote:

On the Solarstone front we're currently working on collabs with Jes from Motorcycle and a hot San Francisco talent named 'Essence'

This should be a GREAT collab with Jes! I'm wondering who this Essence guy is...new Solar Stone is always either average + 1 or excellent so I can't imagine any of these future tracks being bad :)

quote:

Also our 'Young Parisians' project is fast becoming our big passion, with collabs from Ben Lost and some groovy downtempo stuff aimed towards an album for next year.

Hmmm, I guess I'm a bit slow because I didn't realize that Solar Stone WAS Young Parisians. I liked "Jump The Next Train" but I'm wondering what all the album is gonna sound like. I think they need to make a Solar Stone album instead of a Young Parisians but oh well.

quote:

The DJ'ing side of things is cool, but we're lieing low for a while to concentrate on the music, so just a few select gigs this year.

Too bad...I really, really, really hope they get booked for Ultra 7. that would make my 2005 amazingly phenominal.

I hope that Jes collaboration is good.

And I've STILL not heard that Jump The Next Train :( gotta catch up on some radio shows I think...

i think solar stone are best when they work alone. no scott bond, no ben lost, no nothing. just solar stone.

I was not a fan of the Solar Stone remix. Probspot is definitely superior in my opinion...and Im a huge solar stone lover

For some reason I imagined the Solarstone mix to be really good, maybe cos their mix of U Write The Rules is such a nice tune...

solar stone is the best alone, i agree with n0bben completely!

Young Parisians Ft Ben Lost - Jump the Next Train (Bobina remix)
Young Parisians Ft Ben Lost - Jump the Next Train (Fast Train remix)
Young Parisians Ft Ben Lost - Jump the Next Train (Probspot remix)
Young Parisians Ft Ben Lost - Jump the Next Train (Slow Train remix)
Young Parisians Ft Ben Lost - Jump the Next Train (Solarstone remix)
Young Parisians Ft Ben Lost - Jump the Next Train (Kyau vs. Albert remix)

out of all of those only the probspot mix was really good. i need solarstone to start making like Solarcoaster and Seven Cities...that was classic and it was just super ing mint. i hope they dont buy into this new crap trance sound that armin is pushing like a dealer...

agreed.
AlphaStarred
yep...their best collab. is probly 3rd earth, although i preferred the marco v rmx. naked angel was alright, def. better than jump the next train, although the latter's probspot rmx doesn't sound half bad.
