Well I'm getting together with 26 of my closest friends, and originally was planning to go to the Russian Vodka Room followed by Ferry at Avalon.
Turns out Russian Vodka Room is booked, and now i'm totally clueless...
Here is the problem, there are a few places in the city like Russian Vodka Room and Anyway Cafe (pricewise). A beer will cost you 4 dollars and their vodka infusion are also really cheap. Above all these places have a very nice atmosphere for a birthday.
Can you guys please suggest something along the lines of what i described...
I appreciate it.. |

| LMAO! Basically your looking for russian owned bars. I have 2 Anyway Cafe's near my house, 1 in Sheepshead Bay the other in Manhattan Beach. There are actually quite a few bars like that that opened up around my house. But I dont think they stay open that late, especially since Im pretty sure that last call for drinks is 4AM. |

You could go to Samovar... it's not CHEAP cheap but it's not bad, and the vodka infusions are good. The food isn't the greatest. Dunno about beer and other alky prices... good vibe though. If some of your friends aren't Russian they'll find this place a crazy novelty... live Russian folk songs and all. Only thing is, 26 people... their downstairs room is pretty small and always packed. The upstairs has lots of room but there's nothing up there, and I don't even know if they seat up there, actually. I don't even know if they have enough chairs in the whole place for 26 extra people!
Not quite what you're looking for, but if you're desperate, it's on 52nd st. Anyway, you're Russian... you've prolly been there already! :p |

hehe...ye Vlad I've been to the Anyways in Sheepshead. I love the prices on alcohol there so much that I'm a very frequent visitor, so for once I wanted to try something different (particularly in the city). Never been to Samovar, but I heard its a lil on the pricier side. The place doesn't have to be russian at all...any other ideas?
