ALMOST every big name DJ is overrated.....
EVERY great DJ who's only gig is at some tiny basement club is underrated....
It's that simple. |

| just when everyone jumps on the tiesto is over rated and terrible bandwagon. i'd wanna bet some of those guys still voted for tiesto, why? they say tiesto sucks just because they go with the flow and deep inside they'd go out of their way to see tiesto live. they are just afraid to admit it and go against the crowd. ;) |

| Most of the people who judge DJ's here haven't ever even heard them live. If you're only judging people by the sad little mp3's you've been listening to with your 1337 headphones in front of your PC your opinion isn't valid. |

and then there are those of us who have spent years and years going to clubs and forking out 40+ $ to see these guys only to watch them play the same set they played on their GU and essential releases and not very well at that. this is of course an opinion however, i personally will never pay another dime to see oakenfold play unless its a multistage event and ANYONE else is playing on another stage. and another thing, i don't pay money to watch a dude cut and scratch with his nose or run around the stage putting on a show like some kinda rock star. i pay to hear good music and good mixing. thats what makes me want to buy their cd's, otherwise.... fugedaboutit. |

well, since we are in TA, i'll assume you were talking about standards of TA.
well, in that case, not even one dj from you're underrated lists is near underrated, because i have heard most of them live, and the rest, i defintley heard the name of, or atleast an mp3 set or something. and i dont go out of my way to keep up with trance. hell, i havent listened to trance in the past two years or so.
and how the hell did sander k get to any of you're underrated lists?? have you been living in a diffrent planet till today?? the man gets an average of 2 6 major gigs per month (at worst!), how the is that underrated?!?!?!?!?! :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: |
