Extended set = 3 hours, the DJ can usually decide when to stop after that if security doesn't stop him first. :p
And I'd have to recommend Ferry. And my recommendation is the only one that matters!

Avalon will be open till 7am on saturday ... which normally it closes at 4am or 5am!!!!!!!
Last time at Red, Mauro kept spinning.... but they pulled the plug on him because it was getting way too late! lol |

When I first saw Mauro at The Palace (Avalon), he went on until almost 9am It was a 4-hour set for AHP... Hahaha, I remember walking out of the club and loosing track of time. The sun was really bright, and it was raining! hahahaha People were shopping, walking up and down the street, and here I am walking drunk up my ass out of a club! hahaha :eyespop: Good old day. Anyhow, which ever event you go, have Fun... Oh and yes, AVALON does allow cameras. And my opinion overrules Dave's!!! hahahahahaha

hahahah awesome, im pumped to check it out. How early do you usually recommend going there? does it get pretty packed pretty fast? (ANY club in minnesota you can go at any time and never wait just get right in) So never really had to deal with anything like that. Any suggestions? My trip is getting better by the second :-D

How am I talking .
Regular gig = 2 hours
Extended gig = 3 hours
Anything longer is usually referred to by actual hours "4 hour set!" "5 hour set!"
It's been the noticeable standard for awhile from what I can tell.
Maybe Mauro is coming on at 4am? Maybe he's scheduled from 2am-5am but can play until 7am if he wants? There are sometime closers after the headliner, too. :-p
Maybe the promos were created when he was originally doing a normal extended set, but later agreed to like a five hour set? I've seen it happen. :-p
It would be awesome if he did play for like five hours until 7am...maybe if I have any energy left after Ferry, we'll walk over and check out Mauro.

Petro... get there EARLY!!!!!! Either club you go to, get there as early as possible. I'm getting to Avalon around 9pm. I never had a problem with lines, but Avalon is known for having bad lines. Spundae, they will have a bad line too because of Fairy... Oooops, I ment FERRY... (Calm down Michelle.... hehehe) If you do go to Avalon, you can hang out with Miss Julia, Traceaholic, and I.. We all normally hang out together. If you go to Godskitchen, then you can hang out with... Dave... hahaha I'm sure he'll be glued to the front of the stage! haha... If you do go to Avalon, let us know and I'll give you my cell #... Oh, and btw... Either event you go to, get your PRESALE TICKET NOW!!! Don't wait til last minute!... They will sell out!!!! Specially Mauro who hasn't been here in one year! Hehehehe Fairy is always in town!

Tomorrow cant come fast enough... just packing now then ill throw down a set tonight and BOOM im off on an airplane tomorrow :-D, ITs been a tough decision but i think im going to check out Mauro Picotto, I had the ability to see ferry in a city close to mine, and havnt had the chance to catch Mauro Picotto at a club and this seems like an amazing oppertunity which i just cant pass up!!
