I'd have to agree. Boa should try booking this guy.

Yeah - in attitude.

How the hell can there be a thread that complains about the amount of talent we have pouring into this city day in and day out. There is actually such talent coming through that most of us either have to take hours to decide, or end up going to MULTIPLE parties due to the massive talent squished in one night in this city. Look at Canada Day - Danny T, Armin, Nu-Nrg a bunch of others i know im forgetting, but it was enough to quench everyones musical thirsts and thensome. And of course the weekend we just had with Sasha, JZ and of course the legendary DT.....AGAIN!! Not only do we get the massive talent, but we also get to experience them at a fraction of the price of most cities. Not to mention, we also sometimes forget that we also are home to one of the most diverse, talented, and undiscovered group of local talent dj's in North America, if not the world.

Your missing the point of the thread lol I was talking about bringing in more nastier, darker, bad-ass DJ's and then all of a sudden it turn in versus battles. I think Toronto needs that as well :p

The only battles that are truly battles are hiphop/DMC dj's. With EDM how the hell can one battle?? Throw on a track, and then wait for the other to mix it in and see what gets a better response?? Not really a battle if you ask me, more like a collabo. Richie & Sven were prime examples of this back in 2002 @ Sound Emporium. While Sven was on the decks, Richie stepped up to the effects and ed that up big time - that was great.

there's always the option of hand to hand melee combat.. in that respect Talla2XLC or the Dumonde boys might clean up ..

Theres no possible way of achieving a versus battle in house/trance/techno and I know that. The point of MY thread wasn't based on versus battles, expect that Kytracid brought it up hehe
I was talking about bringing in bad-ass DJ's such as Phil K, Meat Katie, Uberzone, Tyrant, even Tarantella & Redanka :eyes:
Now if there was a battle achieved I think that would be Phil K vs Meat Katie. I've seen Phil K once only and this guy looked like he knew his very well. Meat Katie is also a magician on the decks. Oooh, now I've remember someone talking about Donald Glaude vs Derrick May, that was probably 2 years ago at System!
Anyhow, I've also seen Lee Burridge vs Craig Richards and the things they were doing that night with the turntables was un-questionably spectacular :)
I think it just depends on how you look at it and what you consider a battle.
