| If you like the DJM600, check out the Tascam X-9. i think i remember someone telling me that Tascam was made my Vestax so the audio quality should be much better than pioneer. plus it has 2 samplers instead of 1, and i think its a little cheaper. i almost bought this mixer when i was looking for one in the $1000 range, but now im just saving for my A&H xone 92. |

| I just bought the Denon DN-X1500 which should be here tomorrow or the day after so I can give you a review on it then. E-mail DJ Tranz for a hook-up on a mixer though. He can probably get a you a pretty good deal on whatever you're looking for. |

denon x400 is good mid-price mixer .
However, if you want the best ......
get the Rane MP44 Club Mixer. No other mixer can compete with the sound quality.
The best nightclubs in the United States carry Rane. |

BTw, if you like effects get an external unit toufas. build-in effect destroy sound quality of the mixer. Check out the pioneer efx 500 and korg pad.
the cool thing about the rane MP44 is you have the ability to isolate the effects to one channel. |

I have bought alot of denon products in the past and have been happy with them. When I first started to DJ I had the denon DN -X800 mixer. Excellent mixer. Great sound qulaity for the price range. However, I upgraded my setup, sold the denon and got the Rane MP 44.
Please let us know what you think of the X1500. Im curious to know how the sound quality is on this denon mixer given that it has the built in effects unit.
BTW I tested the pioneer DJMs awhile ago because I wnated something that had everything in it ( mixer + effect). I was dissppointed to hear that the mids-hi sounded muffled. Not good imo for trance but OK for house and maybe techno. |

| you don't think a efx-500 kills sound quality? it's awful man. that's why they're coming out with the efx-1000. |
