Yahel's track You Feel also does this for a small section.
Any other tracks like this? |
I remember hearing a track with a 3/4 beat on a recent John Digweed Kiss 100 show. If I dig it up (no pun intended), I'll let you know :) |

| Yeah Digweed seems to have an ear for these kinds of things, I should listen to his shows. I mean after all, One Reason is signed to Bedrock. |

I don't know if there is such thing as psy breaks or dnb, but if there is Eat Static makes both. Although they're known most for their GOA/Psy work, they've made most anything but Techno. Maybe Techno too, I haven't heard all of their tracks. Acid/Classic Trance, Ambient, Breaks, DnB...
They've made funky breaks, traditional DnB, and both of those with those odd spacey sounds Psy is known for. Some example tracks here:
DnB:
Shpongle - And The Day Turned To Fright (Eat Static Mix)
Hide - Doubt (Eat Static Remix)
Eat Static - Mandrake
Eat Static - Dionysiac
Eat Static - Bodystealers
Eat Static - In The Nude
Eat Static - Salon Kitty [Starts off with originally produced latin lounge sound then goes to DnB, then back to the latin lounge...odd)
Breaks:
Eat Static - Are Man In Nirvana
Eat Static - Follow That Camel
Eat Static - Cyber Funk
Eat Static - Almost Human
Eat Static - Comatose
Eat Static - Elixir [breaks/4/4]
Eat Static - Kryll [breaks-4/4 again; they seem to be fond of this]
Eat Static - Critical Mass [Switches from 4/4 to breaks then back again]
Green Nuns Of The Revolution - Ring Of Fire (Eat Static Remix) [Again, goes from breakbeat to 4/4 beat]
Banco De Gaia - Lai Lah (Eat Static Kitchen Sink Remix) [Once more with the switching between breakbeat and 4/4 beat]
And Eat Static - The First Revelation is an odd one, starts off like an ambient track for the first four minutes then a 4/4 beat and some psy is introduced. At least in terms of variety they're up there with Orbital, BT, Oliver Lieb, etc...BUY ALL OF THEIR ALBUMS NOW!:whip: |

So do they actually have strange timings or did you just list all the stuff that switches from 4/4 to a breakbeat (which is 4/4 as well)? |

I was expanding on the earlier discussion in the thread about psy-breaks which you must have missed. |

And what do they have to do with this topic, exactly? |

Probably nothing. What's your point. The threadstarter himself was involved in the psy-breaks conversation. Are you being stupid on purpose? I thought you had more sense than that. |
