it's good when people can actually do it (and do it well), but bad when people get messed up and think that they can do it. |
i am one of those people who thinks he can but probably cant... and proud of it. i really enjoy dancing and thats pretty much all that matters. its a great unique thing we have and i think everyone within our city limits has the right to give it a shot. |

dude i will need to steal a bit of your moves. i suck and uncreative :p |
Surely not. (If you suck, then the news isn't good for me :( :p )
And that is a good point, if you want a scene full of people that are expert shufflers, and no one that dosen't really know what they are doing giving it a go, in about 5 years the melbourne shuffle will be a thing of the past. |

kudos to you for trying, and even better that you love to dance.
i have no problem with that. just don't like people who hog up space and literally push people out of the way because they think they're the shiznit.
more of the attitude of some people that annoys me. |

Bah to pushing people out of the way :whip: especially if you can't dance
I like to have some space to work with, but I won't go pushing people out of the way, I usually look for openings and jump on em. If I bump someone I'll say sorry and smile.
Dancing is an attitude. |

I have nothing against the shuffle, in fact it was the styles of old friends of mine that got the whole thing started.
Does look pretty farken funny tho when they go absolutely flat out for like 30 seconds than stop for 3 minutes to get their breath. Or when there is a break / build in the tune and they continue the same moves and speed regardless.
Two things i seriously wish would disappear from the shuffle tho......that jump on the spot in the middle, and that god forsaken hat twirling ! Some awesome dancers still around tho.
:stongue:
*end of old rant* |

| Werd up scotty, some shufflers are awesome and as i said they are an absolute treat to watch but the thing that i find the funniest is the hat twirling... I MEAN COME THE FARK ON:stongue: |
