| Yesterday I accidentally spilled some soda on my keyboard. It seemed to work fine, until today, when suddenly one of my Ctrl keys got "stuck", like it's pressed all the time, but really it isn't. So now my computer wont start because of it (gives me a keyboard error). What can I do to make it work again? Just try to clean it, or buy a new one? |

Try putting it in your dishwasher, leave it to dry for a day or so, and then give it a chance to redeem it self. If that doesn't work, buy a new one.
I'm not joking. |

:wtf:
Buy a new one, keyboards are cheap and unless you are very bored it's worthless opening it and fixing. |

I didn't say open it and fix it... I said shove in the dishwasher, then let it dry.

The only part of my post directed towards you was the smiley. The rest of it is for the guy spreading soda over keyboards. |

| buy a new one. Unless you have some crazy high tech one it'd be cheaper and easier to just buy one. |

2 options
a) stab it with a screwdriver until the ctrl key is broke
b) buy a new one |

i say the dishwasher idea could work.
but i say that the acid in your soda leaked through the chips on the keys.
were you drinking red bull? i hear 'red bull' gives you wings, so it would give the keyboard wings when it goes to heaven when you kill the keyboard in the garbage. |

| Dudes it's easy to fix a keyboard that has been sodafied, just rinse the bastard under a tap and let it dry for a day or so. I had it happen twice now and both times it fixed the prob. maybe he has a natural keyboard then it's not so cheap to replace. |
