| I need to disassemble my M3D. Everything is done, but I can't get the cover off the strobe. I already removed the power switch and everything, but for some reason the cover won't come up. Is there a trick to this? Let me know. Thanks |

Okay, well I figured it out due to all the terrific answers yall provided me ;).
Anyways, for anyone curious, on the M3Ds the covers are actually glued to the strobe circuit (on the inside of the cover) which in turn is held in place by being wedged into plastic stems. Once you have the circuit and plastic harness removed from inside the turntable you can begin to replace the strobe. If you are replacing the strobe and don't care about the one originally in there, use a knife and wedge up the cover on both the top and bottom pieces. You will break the glue bonding and the cover will come up. It is not an easy task at all, but it works fine.
And if you break your tables trying this, don't cry to me. I did it and it worked fine :toocool: |
