mini disc help.... what should settings be? bass levels ?

| question, i'm sure someone will have an answer.. i have a Sony Mini Disc model MZ-R37, and have recorded a couple sets with it.. i'm not familiar with the thing at all, just plug it in and press record so any help/suggestions would be appreciated! Anyways, the only issue seems to be with the bass levels and also sound level being a little low (sound level i've figured out how to raise with sound forge).. i'm not sure at all what i had set to be on or off, so the question is.... what should be on or off? mega bass levels? what's the avls or something like that? any tips/ suggestions would be appreciated! thanks!!! |

| First put the basses as low as you can, and then go up with the volume until you've reached the 0 dB when a beat come. Don't go over, it will clip if u do. |
