2HP.ca Radio is very proud to simulcast Mark Oliver LIVE from London's Barking Frog (http://www.barkingfrog.ca) on Thursday October 14 2004 from 23:00 to 02:00. Mark will be accompanied by DJ Kandaio.

Eight years at the top of the heap, four times voted DJ of the year by clubcrawler.com, Mark pioneered Canada's rave movement. He was the first DJ to play acid house and techno nights and founded North America's first rave organization. He rules Saturday nights at Canada's premier nightclub, The Guvernment.

Personal note: I'm crossing my fingers that this works out fine. Live to air shows from nightclubs can be sketchy. I'll post updates in this thread as I receive them. Lets all use our jedi-mind skills to make sure the connection stays fast and that there are no interruptions. Cheers! rj~

Ok, here is the situation as I understand it:

There are some buffering issues that we're trying to work out. Not exactly sure what seems to be the cause, but I suspect it's the stream source's bandwith.

If the buffering can't be solved in a reasonable amount of time - the broadcast schedule will change to: 11pm to 2am with a simulcast from UWO Radio - which will be at a lower bitrate.

In the mean time, tune in, and be patient - I believe Mark probably comes on around 23:00 or so.

Gracias.
