Ok guys, i have been a DJ and a TA for a while now and im gonna start getting into producing. The search is down right now so please dont flame if this question has been asked before.
I am wondering if anyone has used the microkontrol? i like it because it is small and portable, it has more slides and nobs than most M-audio controllers, and its got the beat pad which i really like. the only downside to it is that the keys are not full-sized and i have fat fingers, but i think i can work past that with a little practice.
i will be connecting this (when i buy the gear in the next month or so) to a 15 or 17" G4 PB 1.5 ghz. running cubase sx and reason 2.5. i will also be using the m-audio firewire I/O 410 to connect my DJ mixer and other devices.
so is this a good controller or is there something else i should be looking at? thanks alot guys!!!
