From those who don't know the name of D:Fuse, his real name is Dustin Fusilier and he goes by D:Fuse for short. He has been in the electronic music scene for shortly more than ten years. He has been working under various aliases with Ken Howard, Mark Horwood and Ryan Maunder. He opened the Paul Oakenfold - North American Perfecto Tours, a few years back and his deejaying dates have increased and so has his productions.

The CD is three years in the making, taking D:FUSE from the outskirts ofLondon to Los Angeles to Chicago and beyond, writing and recording with Jes (of Motorcycle fame), Blueletter (aka Greyarea), Pete Lorimer (aka 29 Palms), and others. With its rich and varied material showcasing D:FUSE's songwriting and production skills, Begin is sure to appeal to both clubbers and listeners at home in equal measures. "This album has allowed me to get back into song writing. I've been a lyricist all of my life, and "Begin" is all about moving away from instrumental tracks and moving more into heart-felt emotion through words," D:FUSE says.

I think I'll get this, samples sounding great, really chilly sound, reminds me a bit of Markus Schulz, vocals are nice either.

I've been a D:Fuse fan for a long time, and I definately like this, but...

I just feel he's been getting way too melodic over the last few years. I miss those old sets you'd hear from him that were funky, driving, and trance all at once... the GDJB set from 06-17-2002 is a PERFECT example, and one of my favorite sets... such a unique sound, but I never hear this any more. Too much of what he makes and spins these days just feels like the same old McProg that has been beaten to death.

I wonder whether somebody knows in which track she takes part?

I know she adds her vocals in "Everything With You", not sure if she is included in any other tracks though.

I believe all the tracks are also available for download on Beatport (I got two).

Blue Skies - wow such a chillout tune. 10/10
Letter To A Friend - very nice male-vocal based chill-breaks tune. 8/10

If his album is consistently as good as these two tracks I'll have to pick it up. :D
