Change In Connection Speed

im on 0.5 mbit connection, i was downloading at an average of 50k per second and recently i can only download at 20k per second. I have done a speed test and the result was: 175 kilobits per second
Any idea how my connection has changed when i havent changed anything?
Ive uninstalled everything and installed everything again and this has made no difference what so ever.

| if you are having bandwidth issues its going to be an issue with your isp. Unless you have a "quality of Service" program running (if you don't know what that is, you don't have it running) that would reduce your speed. contact the tech support and see if there are any issus in your area. |

| I agree. Definately an ISP/Line issue. The contention ratio in your area could be high as well. |
