not too flashy .. remember not to put too much flashy stuff to compensate for us less fortunate dial-up users. hahaha.
but good design so far.

Buncrana - the town i live in. Basically, it's gonna be a tourism site + business directory + news page all rolled into one :)
gonna try get every business in town to advertise on it, they can log in, and enter any special offers they have for any up coming weeks.
pubs / clubs / etc can log in and enter any events they have.
and at the bottom of the page, i'm gonna display one entry from the business directort + accommodation section, so that way everybody gets their place on the front page :) .. should make more ppl advertise on it.
the local chamber of commerse is also goint to endorse my site, and gimme a hand promoting it :)
pretty excited baout the whole thing indeed :) |

less fortunate dial up users?? .. aka me + everybody else in Buncrana :) we dont have the luxury of broadband yet :)
user mostly dreamweaver + notepad if u couldn't figure something out in DW.
gonna use php for all dynamic content.
quite impresed with my design  |

| I like it. I hate sites that try to be flashy and artistic because they almost always just end up looking cluttered and disorganized. Sadly that seems to be the popular trend in web design. |

ya, i've def gone for the simple look.
thinkin i need 1 more colour though.. a nice shade of blue perhaps??

| i'm totally clueless about design and what looks better or not but i'd advice to try putting there that extra color cause right now it looks maybe a little bit too simple/white. |
