My mate recently got a letter thru the post asking for £60 for his domain name Cpugeni.com to be re-registered for a year.
Seemed abit strange bcause he had only paid £20 each year b4, so tried giving them a call..turned out they were a fake company trying to SKANK him..so he sent the fake invoice back, with an included complaint - :haha:

ditto!
did you know a lawsuit like that could get your more pounds than you are thinking? .. you could possibly sue them in the thousands range for fraudulant behavior, business scrutiny, and the intent to steal from you. |

i mite mention that to him then, dont know if it would be more trouble than its worth and if they put a fake add on the letter (which they prob did).
