I haven't been DJing for that long, but I've realised that it isn't exaclty for me. Especially since I don't have time for it anymore since school and work have gained a higher priority at this time. I figured instead of letting it collect dust on my desk, I'd rather sell them to someone who can still nurture their dream of becoming the superstar DJ.
Up for grabs is a pair of slightly used (they're less than 18 months old) BLACK Technics 1210 M3Ds. They were a special edition set with black being a very rare color on the Technics. Sure there are "faceplates" that you can buy for the Technics, but they don't look quite as authentic and are pricey anyways. There are almost no scratches on the turntable. The platter, tonearm, and wires are all in perfect condition. I have dust covers for both tables, but one of them has a part of the a side wall broken off. It's nothing major though, and does not affect the turntable or it's performance.
Asking price is $350 per turntable and is slightly negotiable.
Here are some pictures that I took of the turntables a few months ago.

LEFT TURNTABLE

I also have a slightly used (for the same period of time as the technics) Behringer DJX700 professional 5ch DJ mixer. It's perfect for beginners as it adds a few extra options that the basic mixers don't. The mixer is also in perfect condition. There are no noticeable scratches or flaws. The sound quality is better than any beginning mixer. I bought it brand new for $200. I'll sell it for $140 and as a bonus I'll even include a Stereo to Stereo Cable, AND a Stereo to RCA cable so you can record your mixes on your computer.
Here's a picture of the mixer.

Payment must be made via Paypal or check. If paying with Paypal, the equipment will only be shipped to a confirmed address. If you will be paying by check, you will have to wait for 2-3 days till the check clears. In the case of a check, the equipment will be mailed to the address printed on the check.
Shipping will via UPS or FedEx ground (I wouldn't trust the USPS with such equipment), insured. I don't know the exact weights of the boxes yet, but I'll try to find out soon. Shipping costs will be exact and match those printed on the shipping stickers.
You are more than welcome to pick up the equipment if you live within Los Angeles or Orange counties, or if you're willing to make a drive to get the equipment yourself. In that case, cash is entirely acceptable :stongue:.

| not here in the states, those looking to buy used ones have a hard time finding black technics, and black is still a rare color over here...i only listed it as a limited edition cuz that what it says on the box...you don't need to criticize me for trying to make a sale, and it's not like i'm trying to rip anybody off, everything that i've listed is 100% true... |

they don't look battered to me.. i bought a pair of 1200 MK2s for $350 (Yes! a pair!), but were about 15 years old and disgusting looking on the surface. i gave mine a paint job and also when taking them apart cleared the layers of dust and other odd sediments from them.
i'm afraid 350/turntable is just a little too high for me. |

ALSO!
How can you say MK3s are obsolete!?!? Just becuase the MK5s came out doesnt mean that the original 1200/1210 MK2s are obsolete does it becuase you can still buy them brand new. Just little changes have been made.
MK3s and MK5s are almost identical!!!
The the only difference between MK3s and MK5Gs is that the MK5Gs have a strip of lights on the pitch control.... and everyone really needs that dont they  |
