Nobody.

IMO the good definition of cheese is... a track with an overdose of mainstream sounds and overhyped by radio and other media. Lack of originality sometimes, but then that ain't always true. For instance: when Benny Benassi came with 'Satisfaction' it had something that wasn't done before, at least not a lot.
The problem is that all those things I mentioned are quite relative, you can say them from other tracks too that ain't cheese.

IMO, there's good & bad cheese. Both 'genres' are played to entertain the mainstream public, but there's one major difference: A bad cheese track is quickly forgotten, while a good cheese track would still be playable after a year or two without thinking: "Ahh, not AGAIN that annoying track:rolleyes: )

But that's just my 2 cents:happy2:

Good Cheese, you just need to find it:

Just like real cheese ain't rock solid, there's no rock solid definition of cheese. To you, it may be a track that's overhyped by the media, to another person it can just be a corny track, regardless if it's popular or obscure. To others, it can be any track that's catchy. Or for most people, it's anything they don't like. (Something's "cheesey" to that person when it's not good or effective.)

It is teeny bopper cheese... what are you on? but I didn't say they were crap, I really like those tunes.

My definition of cheese are catchy, overplayed radio tunes. I'm guessing your definition of cheese are tunes with bad quality. o_0 Stuff like Special D aren't cheese to me, they're just crap.

Paul van Dyk - Connected
Tiesto - Adagio for Strings
Rank1 - Airwave
Kernkraft - Zombie Nation

R u making up ur own defenition of trance because the biggest trance dj's in the world would class motorcycle as the biggest trance tune of 2003(I'll 2nd that) as for all the rest they are classed as highly ammense trance tunes by everyone who no's what trance is. Who r u to talk this pish, u should be shot, u dont have a in clue about trance mate .
gerrycueto
Since when does my definition of cheese have to conform to your opinion? Hell, to the opinion of the biggest trance DJs? So, you're saying I should musically stop thinking for myself and put my trust in the almighty trance DJs because they are turntable gods and know what is good music and I don't?

andyboy
No not at all but this is amazing trance and that is that , give me an example of real trance to u(cause there is nothing u can say that will make these tunes sound cheesy) I have different view to plenty of people of what is cheese and what is trance but even when people say they dont like these tunes nobody has ever classed them as cheese because they no it's not it is fact ,dont u get it.
no affense but do the math mate sake!

look I respect your opinion.. you don't have to get loud with me and start cussing at me and saying I should get shot.. grow up.. you sound like some close-minded 15-year-old who thinks the world revolves around him

I told you my definition of cheese... overhyped, overplayed, radio or club anthems NOT tunes of bad quality (those I consider them crap).

There's no such thing as REAL trance or FAKE trance. Just like beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so is trance music. Club anthems don't entrance me for the very reason that they are extremely predictable; however, that doesn't negate the fact that I do dance to club anthems when played and that I actually do like some of them myself.

Let's be honest. Those tracks WERE amazing, but then commercialism got in the way and they had to play them out endlessly to the hungry masses, but notice this forum is entitled "cheese you like", so the very fact of me listing these tunes states that I do like them.
