So my windows was crapping out. So I did a re-install of the OS (sorta like an oil change on a car I guess), and everything is working fine again. Then I listen to some tunes, and a track I bought from AnjunaDigital comes on (in WMV), and it says "acquiring licence", and FAILED, already registered to a computer.

So I can't listen to the track I BOUGHT. And you'd think the little pop up window that says "FAILED" would have a link that would direct you to a site with instructions on how to fix the problem... but I guess that sort of user friendly help is too much to imagine.

So I do a search for help, and all the links are about cracking WMV :)

So now I can put more effort into figuring this out, or I can just download the file from a fileshare.

I will let you decide? Is it moral to download a fileshare version of a song you've bought, or should I figure out how to relicence?

you should of backed up your license lke your supposed to.

However, just send an email to [email protected] and they should reset the license for you.

You bought the song & now own it, so why not just be able to download it?

If you buy a vinyl, you can download the mp3 and that'd just be like ripping it from the vinyl, just easier.

i have a pr0n that wmv wont let me play cuz it always says the acquiring license , anybody know how to get around it?
Nell
TA does not support warez?

you can't get around it, you need the license which is specific to each computer it's issued to. So even if you find one on a p2p network, it wont work because the chances are it is set to another computer already.
