Recently heard *Saltwater* and decided that I had to mix a Chicane tune so I've chosen *Offshore*.

Production wise sounds pretty good chap! Although to contradict what I have just said I can't help feeling that the bassline could be slightly deeper than at current. Gets repetitive in some areas thought you keep some of the original elements which is nice! More fx and percussion would be cool too and more punch to the kick! Again the production and mastering both are pretty good! Keep up the good work!

Thanks bud, appreciate the comments. :)

Buildup is too long, either shorten it or add some elements so it's not so repetetive...also the synths and pads are drowning out the other elements I feel....which takes away from the feel of the track

Need more punch in the drums too :)

Yeh, i'm always kinda wary when I include strings into my tracks because I have a tendency to let em dictate where my tune goes, y'know?! Almost all of my tunes have included some sort of melodic pad or string, it's like a drug with me. lol. :whip:

hey the production on this is really good. I enjoyed it but would probably have to agree about more elements in the build up. Apart from that a nice mix though!

keep it up
