just a thought .. if this event is being held in that jumbo studio which is 40,000 sq ft. with 35 ft ceilings, by comparison the Koolhaus is:

specifications
• 27,000 sq. ft.
• 20' x 42' Stage
• 20' Ceiling

and because of theater, it might just have 1/2 decent acoustics to the room.

And how in the world are they thinking of filling up that massive place on a Wednesday nite? Especially with a $40 ticket price? I don't see it happenin'

yeah someone else brought this up to me .. who knows .. maybe if they advertise it like a concert or something ?

crazedcanuck
I was @ his last show @ the Warehouse.

It was alright... more of a top 40 edge102 crowd... and it was smaaaallll.

I'm a fan, and was hoping to hear more of his own productions... but it was a diva-house set practically... with the only highlight being the mix of Daft-Punk burnin with Madonna's music.. and I hate that track... hope he treats it like a huge party.. and I hope the ppl show to support it, or else it will say a lot about Toronto's ability to support big events.
