DJ, producer, musician and man about town Fatboy Slim (aka Norman Cook) will bring his party making skills to Toronto on November 10th. On this very special Wednesday evening, the Toronto Film Studios (located at 75 Commissioners’ St.) will be transformed into a unique venue inspired by Fatboy Slim’s recent video for the first single off of Palookaville: “Slash Dot Dash” – an interactive environment of musical masterpieces and good times.
One of the pioneers of dance music, Fatboy Slim has never allowed his musical influences to remain in one groove – mixing every type of music, instrument and noise to create songs which are more infectious than influenza. These songs combined with some of the most innovative videos in music history have made Fatboy Slim one of the most popular producers/musicians of dance music of the past decade.

its an early event. 8pm.
i doubt it'd be even half full. minimal advertising, high ticket price, during a weekday, in a week with plenty of other great events. i'd go just to show some support if i didn't have my midterms the next day. ;) |
