The biggest dance exports from your country. (pg. 6)

see when biggest dance exports are mentioned, I think most influential, not the biggest selling. If we consider biggest exports, the biggest export could have been Todd Terry and Armand Van Helden, who sold a boatload of records. See Levan, May, Atkins, Knuckles all pushed their sound to a wider audience.

Now about countries and pushing crap, all countries have had crap artists. I mean the US had country, which is the worst genre evah. Canada pushed folk music, which is awful. This argument will never end

For the brits, who forgot everything but the girl?

I agree. Everythings turnin to rap here in America it seems. Why couldn't it have been trance if anything? Trance has brought some good remixes in of Celine Dion and Bryan Adams (mind you, Heaven Remix, that was a huge hit here in the states).

Did you know that Country music is STILL the most popular genre in America?? I couldn't believe that when i heard that. I can't stand it one bit.. how can anyone else besides the laid back country folk?

I just remembered The Avalanches - they were prettyy big for a while with tracks like "Since I Left You" and "Frontier Psychiatrist"

yeh pop music is so , but there are sum artists that really should be respected by their actual ability, in NZ we don't really have pop music artists, but our artist are genuine and don't make the ty ass crap that comes out of some artists these days, they make meaningful lyrics and real music, it's much different to wat u hear on mainstream music and in a way it's much more deserving.

Didn't know that about Solarstone. But the top three I can think of is:

Sasha
Hybrid
Kosheen

But does Jay Welsh count for something?

But Welsh music seems to be more popular outside the EDM scene.
