I miss High School... (pg. 4)

I'm in my senior year this year and as far as I'm concerned, the sooner it finishes the better. In the last few years I did mess about with mates and stuff to an extent, but now I'm just fed up of the whole thing, the whole popularity hierarchy that I hoped would've faded a bit by the last year. And I'm not going out to parties and getting drunk or any of that fun stuff, that's where the heirarchy comes in again, you can try your best to get your foot in the door but some people like me will just end up ed.

High school (I think that's it anyway, been trying to put my finger on what's causing this), going in there and hardly anyone even bothering to say hi to me, and hearing people go on about getting laid, their part time job, their girlfriend/boyfriend, their drunk weekend, the car they're going to get, and all these things I'm just not experiencing for various reasons, is really starting to depress me, and I've never thought of myself as easily depressed, but for the last wee while I've been feeling like a lot more often than I'd like. Hopefully I'll be off to uni next year, that looks so much more fun, not having to put up with from parents, less of the popularity and preconceptions, a good balance of freedom and responsibility.

So overall, I guess highschool's great fun either if you're popular and get invited to things, or if you're one of these people who simply don't care for these things, but for someone like me who's stuck in between, it sucks :( I mean, I don't really fit in with the popular people or the nerds.

It seems that I'm just not a highschool person, different people are more suited to different environments.

I'm gonna try my best to enjoy this year though, afterall I'll be leaving the hole of BBHS and I'm sure I'll miss some aspects.

elementary school >> grad school > undergrad >> high school

My undergrad program was tougher and had more work than grad school.

High school was just miserable as well; socially anyway.

give college a try... same goes, except you pay $ and the professors dont give a if you succeed or not.

i remember when getting girls to sleep with u was so easy. And not getting a slap in the face or a kick in the balls when u snapped a girls bra strap that u didnt know. i hate being older. i hate not relying on ur age and popularity to get u laid

Yep those were some of the best days of my life. But you have college to look forward to at least. 4 more years of partying and not giving a . Then you hit the real world. I've been out of high school 10 years now, 5 years since college and I can say you really don't realize just how good those days are until they are gone. Enjoy them while they last...

I'm in high school (i think lol! - i'm 16) at the moment and i enjoy it quite a lot... not in with the 'cool' people, but i got my own massive circle of mates that i can hang out with, i'm gonna miss them once i get to uni :sadgreen:

altho, the next step is another part... i was sooo shy when i started highschool, and im just glad that i've got so much confidence now, that's been the best thing properly.

i don't wanna leave :whip: ! i like bunking lessons, failing tests and not giving a , getting drunk underage etc... ah, it rocks at the moment!
