Have you straight-up told him how you feel about him? Sometimes it takes a little honesty from somebody to make him stop. Just walk up to him and say "look - I don't like you, so stop bothering me!" If he truly respected you in a way that seems justifiable to him, he will respect your wishes as well...
He seems to have a reputation for being a weird guy? Maybe that's just because nobody has ever been honest with him before. :eyes:
