Urgent - Headphones advice

Hey everyone.

I was a dumbass and brought my headphones to school (nothing good, just $20 Sony MDR-V150s), and they got stolen today (long story, maybe I'll post in chill out room). I am DJing at a halloween party THIS SATURDAY, and I only have about $35 to spend on new headphones. I know $35 can't get me much, but what headphones would you guys suggest that I would either be able to get by Saturday from the internet, or would be able to find at a store?

Any input is welcome and appreciated :)

Thanks
Brett

maybe EBAY with a cheap 'buy it now'

Just pay as much as you can and stick with the main brands and you should be ok.

The numark PHX are supposed to be good for the price. Just get anything you can find with sound isolation for the price i guess.

I bought a pair of cheap Maxell headphones from Best Buy for $20 or so. The good part about them is that the earpieces go all the way over my ears so that they block outside sounds fairly good for a cheap pair of headphones. I've used them in the studio where I do my radio show and I have had no problems hearing with the headphones while the studio speakers were turned up pretty loud.

He has only $35 ...

As said before, stick with the main brands like Numark, Stanton, Behringer, etc...

I think they might have something cheap that will work just fine.

You have to be sure that you buy a 'closed' model, which means that they block out as many outside noise as possible.

Good luck this Saturday!

P.S.: If you don't find any decent headphones, just act like you're drunk and up every mix in a horrible way... ;)

my previous phones were the Aiwa HP-X223 that i got at best buy, they're about $30, not bad at all, big cups, comfy, close out plenty of noise, they come with a 1/4" adapter, 9ft cord, and a mute button

if ur looking for some cheap phones to mix with last seccond, these should be just fine

btw, if ur gonna take ur headphones to school (i do) keep them in ur bag and keep ur bag with you at all times if possible, ppl r s and love to go bag raiding
