Ipod Question

my gf just got an ipod..and we put stuff on it at her house on her comp..but when i installed the program on my comp at my house..of course..ipod recognized that there is nothing on the computer..so it did the automatic update..and it erased everything on it..does that mean that she alwyas has to have a full library on her computer?? and can only do the changes on her comp..unles she wants everythingg on the ipod erased/changed?

| The ipod can only be synced to one computer at a time. If your comp has no music on it, and you format it to your comp, then it will be empty. Yes, you will have to make all the changes at her place unless you copy all her music to your hard drive |

| dunno if you can, put take it back, I heard bad things about the battery dieing bigtime over 18 months and then it won't even last 30 minutes, theres a couple threads in here about it, should do a search man. |

| Ipods are over-hyped. Crappy battery time, simplistic design, and that major flaw. |

| IPOD short for "I Purchased an Overrated Disaster"? probly. make the right choice and go for creative or philips products, comparatively inexpensive and aren't just cute paperweights. |

be smarter than the product. Just cause a few people got bad eggs, doesnt mean the whole batch is bad. blah blah i heard battery this blah blah flash roxzxors hd player. blah blah
You can change it so it does not autoupdate, it will ask, this is not the computer it was originally hooked to do you want to make it that? say no and you can add what you want. I have my taking songs from 3 different computers, both win and mac. |

or you could save yourself quite a bit of cash, and a lot of frustrating problems...by NOT purchasing a piece of . just a thought. |
