Hello TA's!
I've now decided to share the full version of the following track:
Ian Vanderson - Time (Original Mix)
Hope, some of you enjoy this dark kind of trance.
The track is about a worker's day full of stress and hecticness,
every passage describes a special part of the day.
Notice for example the tickin' and ringin' of the alarm bell at
track's start.
Okay, okay, I talk too much. :p Just let me know, what you think of this track, please. :) |

bout time u post a track ;)
heres what i think:
percs need a little work, bass needs less reverb, kick needs louder
as for the melody it def. is dark ;) def. fits a hard trance track hehe, so ya all u gotta work on is mastering...
but keep at it

It's ok...
Needs a better bass.
"percs need a little work, bass needs less reverb, kick needs louder"
same here.
What sequncer(sp?) did you use?
The lead should be more sawish.
It's not bad but it lacks a lot of elements.
Try again.
It is dark but well not enought.
I make dark trance too. ;) |

And then I took a one, thats nearly 6 months old. :D
I remember, what u told me once about it. But I still wasn't able to fix those problems, just wanted to know, how people think about this kind of music. Have expected some more and more positive feedbacks, but to focus on other more uplifting tracks seems to make more sense to me than messing on about this track.

This track was completely made in Reason, I used a relatively noisy and muddy subtractor for the lead. Hearing this alone sucks, but how I just told, this track was made 6 months ago and is completely unmastered.
----
Hope to present ya another more uplifting, better sounding and mastered track next time. |

It seems to as a good produced track.
Definately a dark track, but not really hard trance, it seems more like dark hard style with techno and house influences.
But it's not a style i really like, i have to admit.
But keep on producing. |

After reading the other Evaluations I'm amazed, that this kind of music even has got some fans, even if there are enough things to improve. ;) Thank you very much.

To be honest, I never cared about the name of the style, my music has, as long as it has a kick, a bassline and a melody. ;) I always try to make something different. This can be good (praises and honour to NU-NRG ;) ) but it doesn't have to. :D
I cover a wide spectrum of sound styles and I would be glad to present a track next time that even you will love to hear. ;) |
