Wow, reading some of this guys stances makes me want to vote for him. I think he seriously has the right idea about how the Government should intervene within people's lives... NOT MUCH AT ALL. The common good is much broader than those few who greatly benefit from it (the extremely poor, the exorbitantly rich politicians) and, so far, I don't think the direction of the Government is moving in the right direction for the common good.
Thanks for the link! :D |

I'd vote for Badnarik if I weren't in a battleground state. But when I look at the audacity that Bush has displayed in the past four years, I have grave concerns that what he might do in four years in which he doesn't have to worry about being re-elected next time could be several orders of magnitude worse.
Kerry will never be an outstanding candidate, but I think he's mostly harmless, especially since Congress will likely remain under the control of the GOP. As a result, none of his proposals are likely to pass unless they have bipartisan support. Thus, any of the damage his questionable policies might have done will likely be prevented. Bush on the other hand, will have Congress on his side, no next term to worry about : basically he will have free reign to do whatever he wants. Given his lack of intellect and dubious beliefs, it would likely be a serious disaster. |
