Matching turntables vs mismatched

| Would it be a problem if i had one Numark TTX1 and 1 Technics SL1200? Right now I have 1 TTX1, and I'm trying to find another cheap one, but theyre not as common as the Technics. On the downside they wouldn't match, it might be strange mixing with two different turntables, but I would also get experience using both models rather than just the TTX1. Any thoughts? |

I have a very old Tech and a TTX1.
Strange? NO
Frustrating? NO
Difficult? NO

I've a TTX and a TT500. Very similar turntables but they actually have different torque and the feel of the pitch fader is a bit different. However, it's not a problem mixing with them.
Even if they don't match, the music still sounds the same! ;) |
