Just found out that my M-Audio Audiophile Firewire Soundcard DOESN'T stream trakcs from the internet. For example I can't listen to Tranceairwaves with it. Just stops and it wouldn't play at all.
I dunno what's wrong with it but in other cases it works perfectly.
Anyone know why?

| should hav nothing to do w/ your sound card. many of us have m-audio cards and can listen to streams. when you can 'listen' to non-stream stuff, what are you using and is it a different program than what you would listen to a stream on? |

No; not at all. Winamp basicly. It doesn't wanna play the stream. Buffers and just stops at the 00:00 second as someone had paused it there.
Weird...
I also have a small internal Realtec(or however its spelled) soundcard and I play the streams with it but my ears lone for M-Audio quality.. that's it !! |

| Its highly unlikely that it has anything to do with your card, considering that everyone else manages to do such things without any problems... unless it is broken / bad drivers or something. |

Uninstall both Winamp and the driver of M Audio. then install again. that should works fine for u.
I had some problem like u do. All i can do is to go MEDIA library, then I select the stream from there.:)
Hope thats helps u. |
