He's played with more tier one talent than almost any other DJ in the world. Dave Seaman, Nigel Dawson, Digweed, Sasha, you name it, he's done it. He has been a Renaissance resident for 9 years, one of, if not the, longest running residencies in a world renowned venue worldwide. He has continuously strived to improve, and it shows as he is one of the handful that deserve a certificate of "Mastery of the Decks."
He is technically one of the most innovative and creative artists behind the decks, seamlesly orchestrating his canvas.You will get the chance to witness this unbelievably talented artsists live November 10 2001, a rare appearance in these parts.
At State '01, we proudly present his debut at a Sonic State event alongside Orkidea(if you love progressive you know this guy!!).
Ian Ossia is one of my favorite artists around the world. In my opinion, not that it matters but anyway, he is honestly one of those DJ's that never got the respect he's deserved. In 1998/99 he put out a CD with Anthony Pappa, Renaissance. It reflected what it was supposed to well, however doesn't truly represent his live sets. He'll be spinning 2 1/2 hours, 9:30 to 12am. Doors will open at 8pm.
I promise you, you will not regret listening to IAN and ORKIDEA back to back for five hours. It will be five hours of the most beautiful, deep, tribal rhythms heard anywhere in a long time.
