I just got me a JP, I hooked it up to my M-Audio Audiophile sound card and started cubase.... no sound? It seems to be recieveing the midi notes when i press the keys etc... but theres no sound at all.

I think I need a .XML file or summat to set cubase with the JP, but im not 100% sure.

Please help

Midi? Do you plug ur Audio cable to ur Card? and ON the volume?

It should have sound and did you check ur M audio Control panel whether is the volume been on?

Check everything mate.

The only problem Im facing now is just that I cant find the patch gain koz I direct plug to my SOundcard and the volume is so damn soft.:whip: :whip:

I'm a newbee to the hardware side of producing!! But I bought an audio cable..... tweeked a few settings on the soundcard and cubase, it is now all systems go and ready to ROCK!!

Josh - I dont understand why your sound input is low as mine is working fine, what sound card do you have? and what sequencer are you running?:

IM holding M AUdio Delta 6/6. It had sound but it was way too soft and i had to push my volume all the way.

Some ppl say i cna go to patch gain to gain up the volume but I cant find it on JP 8000 as those ppl who told me are the owner of JP8080.

Maybe I should plug back to my console. Darn it.

I have looked at my manual, and there doesn't seem to be an option for editing patch volume within the JPs interface. The problem is either your soundcard settings or MIDI send/recieve settings in your sequencer.

If your sound card is anything like my audiophile, goto the 'patchbay/router' tab in the soundcard settings, and change the output to 'Monitor Mixer'.

Let me know if this helps.

Mine is the same as urs. Mine is Delta Series. 6/6

I plug into Hardware 3/4 and under the PatchBay/ ROuter of H/W Out 3/4, I dun have Monitor Mixer. Only 1/2 had Monitor Mixer.
