| Probspot has always bored me and don't see why his formulaic productions, make people so wet. If anyone can show me, why I'm wrong, I'm more than happy to listen. |

The most overrated producer of 2004.
He started off decent enough but he's been cashing in on the same idea ever since. |
Totally agree. Every tune I've heard is like he stuck it in a machine, said "put these samples, percs, etc. into the tune, and slap 'Probspot Remix' onto the end."
I also agree with Toronto on this one. I think that it has a bit to do with the ASOT/GDJB stuff. Take a look at a ton of the tunes to come from both of those shows; over-rated, in my opinion, at least. Probspot gets heavy airplay on GDJB, and thus bedroom prog DJs whore him and claim him to be God. |

I don't feel like the only one, other people have the same opinion. Poor probspot has bought into the formulaic direction. |

Yep. Having a signature sound or something that identifies a tune as a having been produced by a certain artist is great. But for God sakes, they don't have to be exactly alike. |

but yea, same bassline always and nothing new really |
True.
TV Dinner was mint and so was his remix of crossroads. Rest is similiar-sounding and not really groundbreaking. |

His percussion work is second to none. One of the best out there |

I wouldn't go as far to say all Probspot tracks sound the same. I first heard Blueberry and loved it, same with Foreplay. But when I heard Rico Suarez - TV Dinner I figured it was a Foreplay remix. Too bad he tried to pass it off as a completely new track because I think it is too similar of a track to call it new production. Many of his remixes also utilize the same bass synths as Foreplay and TV Dinner.
However, I have heard clips of Midnight, Bobcat, and Discotheque and they seem to have a feel that isn't as similar as Foreplay and TV Dinner, so I hesitate to label him a one trick pony just yet. |

| i think all his tracks sound very individual. yes the bass and perc are recognisable as his, but the rest is original and inovative writign and production. seriously, you can recognise most ferry corsten tracks these days by the perc and base, same for above & beyond, tiesto, armin.. you name it. the only reason probspot is being picked up on is because he sounds is so distinctive and fairly unique. |

| Nah, he bought into the formulaic regime, that's why he is getting labels signing his stuff. |
