I really didn't insult JM at all, I was just giving him for giving the thread-starter a hard time because he didn't get any job offers from a job fair. Come on, did you really have to insult him and then brag that you got so many more offers than he did? Is it really a competition, or do you just love self promotion, JM?

no man, i wasn't bragging, self-promoting, or insulting the guy who posted. its a career fair - and the purpose is to self-promote oneself to the recuriters there... seems like all the guy did was go in there with a negative attitude and turned it around to make himself feel better by grabbing as much free stuff as he could. every company has departments in different fields, and if they weren't hiring physics majors, i'm sure they knew a little about what the kid should do in order to find out more about how to use his major and find a job with that company... but, as they say.. to each his own.

At the uni I went to they hardly have any free food, they ususally have stupid like stressballs(baloons filled with birdseed), and pens, and erasers and fridge magnets. You got a nice little haul.
The one stand was giving out condoms, I guess that is for the people who rape the stands :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: |
