I love psytrance, the first records I bought when I got my turntables were all psytrance records, my music collection has a lot of psytrance.
Anyone that won't listen to it because its in a genre you have prejudice against >>> Sorry you're missing out :P |

Bah, shut up. The new bassline style is pumpin, which of course, makes the music energetic.
Someone in the psy scene once said that the synthriffs of the 90's have been replaced by the basslines of the current era. I couldn't agree more, NOW PUMP THAT BASS!!! :D

Depends on perspective. Some of the newer trance I've been hearing is good. Newer psytrance is really good, it's all about the driving bassline. For me it isn't about psy, it's about the drive. I don't like passive music. |

GOtta say I LOVE the old-school isreali sound (astral, MWNM, electric universe), but the way its turned now..that minimalisitc, dark, mono stuff...not too good. I'm trying to be opend minded, but still..
..I guess I'm just not ready to move on. Give me 7 more years :D |
