With the dance music scene constantly changing DJs often change with the times, or they face the risk of becoming outdated.
Often DJs manage to remain popular as they switch genres or try new things, and many times DJs can go from hot to completely not.
How has your favorite DJ changed with the times?
What DJs used to be good, but since evolving somewhat now stink? |

Maybe this subject is a little too broad to spark a debate.
But anyway a DJ I do not follow closely is Roger Sanchez and along with producing a few catchy commercial tunes, he was a house DJ that I enjoyed listening to. But I really dislike the progression of his music in recent years. A set I saw some time ago was flat and soul less, is he trying to be tribal? |

I'd have to agree with TwoPlow on Oakey. I'm beginning to think Tiesto will be next.
My fav dj tho, paul van dyk, does not get changed due to the 'times' but more like innovates and sets the 'times' in that context. if u get wat i'm saying hehe.
One dj that has remained pretty consistently good throughout the years I must note is Judge Jules. |

| My fav DJ, Mauro Picotto. Back in 1999 and 2000 he produced tracks like Komodo & Proximus..and Lizard of course. These were really commercial tracks, they were quite popular as far as I know. Since then, he's in T.E.C.H.N.O. and nowadays his spinning his best IMHO. in' good music:D :D  |
