a close friend of mine graduated from Digital Media Design in a class of 30 ..

he was the only one who found a job 1 year later and he found the job on his own without the help of his school ..

everyone i know who's graduated from there has been disatisfied
(i'm sure circumstances are different depending on which program you're thinking about going into)

bass drive
a friend goes there, and he says it's ok (it's quite pricey though).
on the other hand, that school has the prettiest girls in Toronto, with a ~7-3 f-m ratio :eyespop: :toothless
samhouse
I nearly went there for animation
tuition is its big downfall...
Crazy Serb
i've met a few people that went there (hell, I even considered it at one point in time), and every single one of them told me that the profs didn't teach them much (they could've learned all that stuff on their own for $15,000 less :D), some of the profs (due to actually being employeed during the day in the industry) rarely even make it classes... and getting a job? pffft, good luck. EVERYONE I know that has graduated from there is now working at some $8/hr job as a cashier or whatnot. Of course, they do have a $15,000 tuition debt as well.

i agree with the above.. one thing that i forgot to mention was that my friends thought it to be too expensive as well .. tuition seems way overpriced there and the tradeoff isn't stellar either ..

absolute crap. i even refuse to qualify the statement, it's not worth it.

i always saw IAOD as like a design equivalent of DeVry

Rule of thumb:

If a school advertises on TV, and you even consider going there even for a second, you're better off buying a gun and shooting yourself.

Come on now. There are far better schools out there, for less money, that don't advertise on TV.

Cept... not quite as fast paced... my friend and i took the same course (electronics engineering technology)... him at DeVry, me at Durham College

He learned more by midterms in first semester than i learned in one year...

IAOD is the same pace with superior curriculum in technical design...
