LMFAO, who are you to say what different people get enjoyment out of?? You're hilarious man, getting all pissy about someone cheating on a one player game. It's like me going over to my neighbor's house and bitching him out because he's painting his walls with a spray painter, while I did mine with a brush, and telling him he sucks at painting and he won't enjoy the end product. :stongue: :stongue:

As far as the game goes I love it!!! It's an improvement over VC and I actually like having to maintain the character (eating etc.) I do agree with the comment about the spin map though. It's too fooking small to tell where you need to go and the mission icons that show up don't help either. I usually just resort to the main map to see where I need to go.

So he's not allowed now to voice his opinions is he not?

Hmmm.... when did I say anything about someone not being allowed to voice their opinion?? Seriously, point me to it. Oh yea, I didn't and if you think I implied that with my post you're wrong. I observed that it was funny that A) He seemed to know what kind of things fastmp3 enjoyed and B)he was getting bent out of shape (i.e. telling fastmp3 he sucks at the game) over someone using cheats. I never said he wasn't allowed to express his opinion.
fastmp3
hehe thanks Wraith :)

anyway as i said , everytime i use cheats sleepydragon's anus itches him ... i understand him

To me, when I play a game I want fun more than anything. If I want a story i'll read a book or watch a movie. GTA is the perfect vehicle for pure fun to be had. In my case by ignoring the story and killing things in as many ways as possible. One of the reasons something like FFX is no good to me is because it puts the story before any fun that might be in the game.

I agree, I could never get into the FFX type games for that reason. The beauty of GTA is the fact that yes it does have a story, but at anytime you can ignore the story and commit baseless acts of violence and destruction. There's nothing like seeing how many people and things you can kill/destroy before the cops arrest you or kill you.

And there are plenty of other games with minimal story which let you wreak havoc on your surroundings, but what separates them from GTA is that GTA is more free roaming and feels more like reality. These other games put you in situations which are not as realistic such as in the army, in a sci-fi setting, in the future or in the past, using unrealistic(if cool) weapons while fighting unrealistc(if awesome looking) enemies in unrealistic(if good) settings. I don't believe that any other game has realistic weapons, places you in realistic settings that have realistic enemies, but even if they do, by far the worst aspect of these games is their linear nature.

In GTA you basically do things there that you could do in reality, while promoting more freedom in a game than any other. Things that are possible but we would never do because fear and society restrains us. You could walk around town smacking people with a purple dildo, steal cars, rob houses, beat people up, etc...but you won't because it's too dangerous. GTA allows us to do the things we are inhibited from doing in our own lives...almost as far as our imagination will allow.

Fun games need not be necessarily violent with explosions either. Basically any game that let's you do inappropriate things with normal situations we see regularly in life. Like in NFL Blitz or NBA Street.

GTA is far from being pure fun. The game is has no substance to it, and is only fun for about 30 minutes, driving around killing cops and hookers. Once this novelty wears off, you're left with a pretty average game imo.
