WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!! I'm always hype to see da man himself, I mean I thought the first time I saw him at Koolhaus in Feb was good, it was, but this time he just blew me completely away!!! SHIAT!! I mean when he spun For an Angel for the encore wow, perfection. :) Plus out there and back, columbia (I think) and a few other stuff, awwwwwwww I went berserk like always. Anywayz I can't wait to hit up MORE parties like the ones I've just been to, I'm gonna be rambling on about them for a few months at least. lol I was tryin to see if I could pick out a few TA's (from the descriptions off here but had no such luck, mebbe next time.)Later ppl. :)

Its amazing how wikked parties put you on a natural high that lasts for days. I've been flying since Tiesto and PVD kicked my ASS yesterday!!!

Still got for an angel looping in my head and my body is mashed!

I was totally blown away by the crowd there last night. I had no idea it would be so rammed. Toronto is so fukkin hype!!!!!!! Respect to the Guv for bringing some of the hypest dj's in the world these last 2 weeks.

It was great to meet some of you TA's at Tiesto (I was that 6'5 guy in tha blue nike shirt next to ya's most of the night) wish I ran into some last night.

My one complaint is that PVD played with no emotion. I love when a dj plays with the crowd like Tiesto and Corston did. PVD never even looked at the crowd. Guess he had his head in his boxes fishing out all those bangin' choons! Suppose thats a good thing.

All in all a sick night. I felt it was a perfect follow up to Tiesto who brought all our hands in the air and PVD brought tha house down and banged the out us!!!!!!!!!!!

Peace

I guess it was at about 3 in the morning when the music hit me... at about quarter to four all i did was laugh... i mean i didn't know what else to do... i couldn't dance any harder, couldn't move any faster so i just laughed......

Its quite an amazing feeling when a dj can overload your system in that way... and its that feeling that keeps me coming back again and again...

Only 2 dj's whom i've heard live have ever done that for me:

1. Mauro Picotto @ Guv
2. PVD at Warehouse in Feb and again this morning at Guv

A lot of people were talking about how good Tiesto was and how his set was awesome... for me he just didn't bring me to that level or should i say that state of mind...

The friend i went with who had never seen PVD was in awe... all he could keep saying was "WOW"....

Well PVD doesn't show much expression while on the turntables, but i really doubt that that is what he's feeling inside... His music is just an expression of what he has on the inside, he is touching us with his aura, metaphysically speaking, and simply uses the music as his aura's vehicle (for the lack of a better word)....

PVD is the puppetmaster, he knows exactly what strings to pull and how to pull them.... and really that's what seperates the good dj's (like Tiesto, Corsten, etc, etc.) from great dj's like Paul Van Dyk...

After watching that Mayday200o Video I thought PVD was gonna go nuts, but I did notice also that he didn't seem to have that mmuch emotion... Oh well the mixing and track selection made up for it!

After reading all the reviews.........I am confindent that PVD's set is gonna be off the chain here in Atlanta tonight.......

I can't wait........You guys mention the "energy" he creates.......I need to experience and see that myself tonight..........

I'll tell you guys how the set goes......:D

Damn.. You guys should be nice to your fellow tranceaddicts who missed the show :)
Instead of saying how good he was, you should pretend that he was bad. Otherwise we'll all die from envy :(
After all, PVD won't come back for a while.

The difference being that when he plays at Mayday he's at home and loving it... Also you'll notice in that set towards the end he seems to be under the influence of something....lol :)

Classic video.

PVD is a clean DJ...he doesn't drink or do drugs....I remember ppl were saying that he was drunk during the Mayday set but I don;t believe it. PVD moves the crowd with his music...he rarely ever dances around or interacts with the crowd but he more then makes up for that with the tunes he drops and his unbelievable mixing skills....

Damn i wish i was feeling well and gone to PVD !!!!! Grrrrr:whip:
