there is always one person like that in every company...we have one here and i gave her the name of "life sux". she never smiles,never says hi,always had a stiff face...thank god she has no authority though hehehe..have u tried suckin up to her? ask her out to lunch or something and get on her good side maybe then she will leave you alone |

she bitches about her boss taking the day off and playing golf too...like he has NO RIGHT to do that. lol jealous much? well then bitch, why don't YOU go to law school and start your ownr firm or make partner, then maybe you can do what you want too, but until then, shut the up and do what you're told, you don't own this firm. i wish my boss would tell her that. i know he hates her.
and god forbid if you take a day off (not calling in sick, i mean a planned vacation). she'll go and put unecessary stuff in your inbox, that way you are overwhelmed when you come back and feel guilty for taking off. she's EVIL! who does that?? only evil, bitter, selfish, lonely bitches.
and, all she does is gripe about how her boyfriend is a mommy's boy and has no balls and how she needs a REAL MAN. yea right bitch, you couldn't handle a real man, you'd feel threatened because a real man wouldn't put up with you for 2 seconds.

I know the type. Office managers are usually like that. I have been in sales a while and you have to avoid appointments with OM's. They usually have no real power, but act as though they do. It's almost always a waste of time, because they can't convey the information right to the decision maker. They act important and want to meet with you, because it makes them feel important, but, generally, can't help at all. They're also "extremely busy" all the time, even though they don't really have that much work. It's funny. |

i wouldn't even know where to begin if i told you about all the she pulls, she thinks i'm dumb too, like i'm not on to her.
if someone calls for her and she's near my desk, she'll act all flustered like, "OH MY GOD! Tell her she has to hold, i have to do this first, OH MY GOD, ok just park her on 2" (park her means put them on a specific line to hold, that way she can just retrieve it at her desk). but instead, you know what she does? she tells me to park that person on line 2, which i do, then she gets back to her desk and yells, "OK! I'M READY"! because she wants me to pick up the phone again, take them off line 2, then transfer it to her...
i just yell back at her "LINE 2"! :stongue:
screw her...i'm not her little do girl. i know it pisses her off when i do that. |

Sometimes it's nice when co-workers think you are dumb. You can use that to get them to do things for you. There was a girl like that at the Telecom firm I worked at. Her name was Nikki and she had a degree from Penn, Ivy League. She had that Ivy League aura, thinking she was smarter than everyone else. That's why I would ask her questions all the time to avoid doing the research myself. It was great. Made her feel important and saved me time and energy. I remember this one time she told me, "Either you have a crush on me, or you're really needy, and I have to go with the latter." That amused me immensely. But I kept taking advantage, of course. :D |
