OK then. Move on. You dont understand the purpose of this thread. You are jumping to quick conclusions based on your ignorance. Ignorance is a very common human feature. You havent even found an argument to do based on what I typed from the book, have you? Thats why your answers are senseless, it does not matter if I was "rambling" senseless information from the book.

uh oh, you asked for it....here comes a 4 page post...

*waits* - edit - nevermind.

Besides, Magnetonium, if the ideas contained within its pages are so profound, then you'll be happy to paraphrase them for us in your own words in order to generate discussion right? I hope you aren't just one of these trolls who copy and paste huge, unreadable chunks of text from external sources to compensate for their hideous lack of original thought or something....

AUTHOR: TO WHOM DOES GOD COMMUNICATE? ARE THERE SPECIAL PEOPLE? ARE THERE SPECIAL TIMES?

GOD: All people are special, and all moments are golden. There is no person and there is no time one more special than the other. Many people choose to believe that GOD communicates in special ways and only with special people. This removes the mass of the people from responsibility from hearing MY MESSAGE, much less receiving it (which is another matter), and allows them to take someone else's word for everything. You dont have to listen to me, for you've already decided that others have heard from ME on every subject, and you have them to listen to. But listening to what other people think they heard ME say, you dont have to think at all. This is the biggest reason for most people turning from MY messages on a personal level. If you acknowledge that you are receiving MY messages directly, then you are responsible for interpreting them. It is far safer and much easier to accept the interpretation of others (even others who have lived 2000 years ago) than seek to interpret the message you may very well be receiving in this moment now. If you think you are right about everything, who needs to talk with God? Obviously, there's something you dont understand. That which you do understand must seem right to you, because RIGHT is a term you use to designate something with which you agree. What you've missed will, therefore, appear at first WRONG. tHE ONLY WAY TO MOVE FORWARD ON THIS IS t oask yourself, WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF EVERYTHING I THOUGHT WAS WRONG, WAS ACTUALLY RIGHT? Every great scientist knows about this.

God talks to everyone, butthe question is, who listens?

Me: I guess you havent got past the first two pages of the first book, cause this information is found on page 6. Yes, he does talk about him talking with God on page 2 or so, and it does sound weird. But he also tells not to take this information seriously, use it only as a guide. Its funny, cause later on it says "So, are you saying that this book is being accurate by posting inaccurate information?" Now reconsider. What's better, you living in a world if ignorance or whatever you may call it, or you reading the first page of this thread, and actually trying to understand what is being said.

So, uh..how many of you have actually read the first 3 posts?

Yeah...thought so. :p

-edit- not as though the 2nd post in the thread had any significant impact :stongue:

for crying out loud, if you have no God or religion in your life, then ignore the damn thread! all you nonbelievers get so damn irritated when someone wants to talk about religion or whatever, and you bitch and complain that they are "pushing" their views on you, but you guys are the ones that seem to be so pushy and narrow minded, whenever i read/hear someone ranting about evolution or how god doesn't exist, bla bla bla, i feel like i'm being pursuaded to join a cult or something. like those scientology guys.

So what exactly was the purpose of this thread? To admire the great skills of copying, with errors, paragraphs from a book?

But do you understand? Does it makes sense? Do you think someone without a degree can make that kind of information up, because he is crazy or something? Nobody is asking you to join a cult, or change yourself in any way. It is just information, intended to open your eyes more to the world around you ... it DOES make sense.

Preach it, Sistah! :wtf: :haha:

I don't have a God in my life - I recognize the fact that the very label we place on the concept of God does not exclude me. As such, I AM god - just as much as any of you are a part of the idea as well. ;)

We are all God in our own right - the difference comes in viewing yourself in the specific light, the difference comes in truly bridging the gap between the idea that God is everything and you are everything as well. That's all this is saying. There is no cult or religious mesage here - it's a (long) teliological statement which encompasses much of what we understand or think we understand about the Universe. Take it for what it is - don't be paranoid about somebody 'converting' you all the time! :whip:

Well, I am in an internet lounge, paying 3 bucks an hour for internet - I dont have much time to copy the whole book. I was just interested in sharing some of the views expressed in the book, and for you to make your own conclusions. Dont change your life. Maybe this will open your eyes more to the world. You dont have to believe the information. One day you'll find out the truth for yourself, because your superconsciousness knows everything ...

I dont have skills. I didnt write the book. I was curious what others thought about it. Thats all.
