Been playing in FL Studio and knocked this together in a day or so thanks to an acapella link in the Production forum (cheers).
Looking for feedback on it, I know its not polished and lacks bits and bobs but I wanted to get people views on it so I can finish it off properly.

Wow.. This one is cool.. :)
I like synths and the beats.. Very good..
Keep up with that! *thumps up* :D |

sounds a little bit too matched.
not clear, lead could be louder
the synths sound too weak
but overall good |

Thanks for the comments, just learning to use FL Studio so will go back to it and try and incorperate the ideas you've suggested.
Reason for using this vocal was because I'd heard a few "club" mixes of it and they were very basic Klubhead / Drunkenmonkey style so I thought I'd try something else with it.
Thanks,

The acapella is going way to fast, try to slow it down a bit ...it'll be cool if you play with the accapella a bit more .... Evox, Space Des... (Logic 6) perhars

alrite man
here goes
firstly the pella is a bit too fast so try slowing that down a bit but its nice and clear which is a bonus
the kick needs alot of work, sounds like a typical FL kick, with alot of EQing it could sound better
the same applies to the perc, if you only have the basic FL set then try DLing some better ones but if your just messing around ATM then simply just EQ and FX what you have till they dont sound generic
try to have some more perc layers and a bit of variation in them too
for messing around though it aint too bad, the synths decent but needs some work to make it great
once youve started to use it more the only real things your looking at is better samples and then structure/mastering
but not too bad :) |

Thanks for the reply, your spot on its a basic FL kick drum and I've not played with EQ on anything apart from maybe the TS404 which I bass boosted. I notice youre from Glasgow too, nice one!
The main thing I want to change with it first is to have the vocals loop properly and cut them at the right points. I just fired it into Cool Edit and guesstimated. It's clocked at 136bpm at the moment so slowing it down more might kill it :( But I'll give it a shot.
Cheers,
