Seems like I made a misconception of people on Discogs

Hi guys,
well, in previous threads I had said bad things about people from the Discogs site and I wanted to retract those words, I've opened my eyes over the past few weeks to see that the people there are not "wankers" as I called it and everybody contributes in to making Discogs a great place, so just wanted to make a apology about that and to tell people not to be put off by using Forums and/or the site at all, they've just added some new features and are doing so on a regular basis.

i think discogs is the . They have 99% of the releases out there. And are reliable 99.9% of the time. There definately isn't another music database that can come within light years of it. Great work.

Yeah, what I was trying to say is the people that frequent the forums are not wankers like I made them out to be before.
btw, that G&M Project Remix will be out in late November, samples and more info to follow soon. |

Hmm tha sounds like it would be a sweet track....G & M Project returning the favour to Nu Nrg ??
I also have to agree that discogs kicks ass, there is nothing else like it that contains such a wealth of information about Electronic Music Releases. |

| There are people on those forums who followed Kraftwerk since the beginning. Frankie Bones posts there more often than I post here. Of course they aren't wankers. |

i would like to say... i knew about discogs since 2001.. in the beginning, it was kinda gay and everything. there was a lot of rap listings and other songs that weren't really that good. a good listing of trance music and everything, but not many listings.
then, when i saw more postings about this site in 2003, i found out more people in the lines of my taste in music were inputting information in these sites, and now i see this site as awesome.
we should all give credit to the whole gang here for making the contributions. pat yourself on the back. |
