I work for the corporate office for Barnes & Noble. Our company has many job openings right now in our Long Island office and NYC office. I would provide some helpful information myself but be it as my boss (president of sales for the professional division) has been fired by the new president of the professional division.

The new guy is this hotshot young executive ceo from BusinessWeek Magazine (McGraw-Hill Publication)

Those are the only positions available for now but these get updated monthly and placed on our bulletin board and I can definetly keep everyone posted on new ones. |

The support Tech position may have those hours available, the support department is open 24 hours however you would need to travel to Long Island. |

This is for our sparknotes department, the position is the edit book titles and information for a various range of academic subjects and working with the directors to create more content on the subjects. Spark notes are basically tips for studying, problem solving and factual information taught in schools.
Requirements are bachelors degree and 3-5 years in publishing as a development editor or related experience. |
