Interesting how people mock Bush's comment about Poland, when it really strikes to the heart about what it means to be, and have, an ally. Someone stood up for someone else's contribution. Imagine that! What's come from the left is absolutely disgusting, particularly since Polish troops have died, but the comments of the liberals only serve to denigrate their memory.

"You forgot Poland" is gonna come back to bite the Democrats in the ass come Tuesday, when the normally Democratic southern half of Milwaukee (mostly Polish) comes out and votes for Bush. He's already polling well there, and it's no coincedence that the numbers started to break after Kerry called Poland part of the "coalition of the coerced and the bribed."

Oh yeah, and this poll is total crap.

Quotes are fun, here I have one too.

"That they deceived us about the weapons of mass destruction, that's true. We were taken for a ride." - President Aleksander Kwasniewski of Poland

Yes, to which the press later asked who "they" was, and the President replied, 'ultimately Saddam Hussein.'

The Polish troops are still there.

And my point still stands.

till when? i thought a lot of the humor of the "youforgotpoland" was that two days after the debate, poland announced it's intent to leave iraq. that and poland didn't help with the initial invasion.

and even if the pols control the upper northest side of southcentral milwaukee, i don't think that they'd feel obligated to vote for bush just because he misrepresented the participation of their homeland. humorous scenerio though.

geez, I thougth this was believeable till I made my vote and scrolled down some to find out:

"Israel John Kerry by 15% [bush votes] 276 [kerry votes] 374 [Bush %] 42 % [Kerry %] 57 %"

So much for that.

What's so unbelievable about that? Jews have usually supported democrats more than they did republicans.

Btw, Croatia Kerry by 93%, whee!
