Cmon, in rather crowded city centre 2 guys are going to fake a story of having some cheap speakers just to beat the crap out me and stuff?

Its a little unlikely, although that would be definetely falling into the category of having a bad day.

A few years of boxing would have come in handy if they tried that anyway, and tough guys generally don't drive vans.

Yeah, you're probably correct. But the last part is a bit TOO general, don't you think?

I once was in a park with a bunch of people and suddenly this guy comes up to us trying to jack some money from us and he supposedly had a gun ( yet never showed it ) and was acting all ruff and we were about to kick his ass when suddenly he ran off as fast as he could.
A group of 5 guys showed up to chase him :stongue: I guess he was in serious trouble :haha:

Back in june around 4 pm I was coming back from a club and stopped at the gas station ... this guy starts talking to me and tells me : I have been standing here for ours and no one seems to acknowledge my presence or existence. It's a long story but I was supposed to get money from someone and they never showed up tonight and I drove 50 miles for it .... Can I have a couple dollars as my car tank is empty .... bla bla bla
So I gave him a couple bucks feeling bad ... and let him call his friend in the car on my cellphone .. friend never answered.

Anyhow 1 or 2 months later I walk out of my house ( this was 10 miles from the gas station ) and suddenly this guy comes up to me and starts to give me the exact same speech and it took me 30 seconds to realize and I told him he'd already pulled that crap on me before and that he'd have to leave or I'd kicked his ass and he was like " dude wtf you talking about you don't know me etc etc " ..... right after he left I wish I would have reacted quickly enough to go over to his friends car and start kicking the windows in

Now 2 weeks ago I'm going to some concert and on the same some guy gives me the same speech again .... except he looked kind of different and he was limping telling me he'd just come out of the hospital and I told him to stfu .... he wanted to fight me right in the street but it was too crowded :happy2: :haha:
What a lamer.

With my past in graffiti with the whole " F the whole world " mentality I'm seriously not scared of anyone apart from the cops....
That kind of attitude could get me shot one day. :stongue:
I've argued with crack heads, beggars, thiefs etc

We took a drive to a money machine but I was dry at the time, really sucked. Aside from the moral lectures of purchasing stolen goods, and these were just misplaced, it was an awesome deal.

You do realize that some people make their living this way - by selling "misplaced" speakers to people from the back of their vans. I, myself, have been offered to buy speakers in such a manner once, and have heard of two other people being drove up to as well. So you didn't miss much, no matter how good those speakers looked they were , trust me.

There's a specific scam name for that kind of plot:

Then I think the one thing we can learn from this is speaker distribution supply chains are really disorganised

I'm sorry I laugh at stupid things but that is among one of the funniest things I have read in a while......maybe I subconsciously know too many hard men that drive vans :conf:
